FY3A VIRR Daily DUST Level 2 Product

Abstract: Daily VIRR DUST Product:

The dust monitoring product(VDS) utilize FY-3 VIRR data to derive the dust information around global range according to the features of infrared, mid-infrared and visible channel in VIRR, distinguishing dust from other target depend on the spectrum characteristics, and calculating dust strength index (DSI). The production is created once a day, and the resolution is 0.01 degree.

The day dust monitoring data can services for weather forecasting, environment change monitoring, disaster assessment
