Abstract: Data include continuous 15-minute interval measurements of temperature, salinity, water level (NAVD 88), and specific conductance for 7 sites.
The U. S. Geological Survey (USGS), in collaboration with Everglades National Park (ENP), the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is conducting a study to measure flows into Northeastern Florida ... Bay. Information from the study will be used in conjunction with data form other studies to help determine the effects of changes in water deliveries to Everglades National Park on the Florida Bay ecosystem. Flow into Florida Bay is closely related to sediment transport, salinity, and chemical characteristics of the bay, which in turn, determine and interact with the biological characteristics, Additionally freshwater-inflow will be used as input to hydrodynamic models of Florida Bay, for calibration of hydrologic models of the mainland, and for water-budget determinations for south Florida - all of which are essential elements for resource management and the ecosystem restoration.

Quality Temperature (Deg C), specific conductance (microsiemens/cm), salinity (ppt), and water level (NAVD 88) data were collected at all sites. Data collection did not start at all sites at the same date.
Sites MO-198, MO-199, G-3763, G-3764, G-3776, and G-3777 have data for gage height, temperature, specific conductance, and salinity.
Data collection includes continuous 15-minute reading for temperature, specific conductance, salinity and gage height. Data are telemetered to the USGS in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
