Entry ID: USDA0213

Summary
Abstract: This dataset consists of about 7,600 surveys or measurements of
sediment and water volume changes in approximately 1,800 U.S.
reservoirs. Operational for RCA analysis only at this time.
Physically located at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station
in Temple, TX.

Collection Organization: Natural Resources Conservation Service

Collection Methodology: Reservoir sedimentation surveys are
carried out by federal agencies involved in water resources,
e.g. NRCS, Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, Forest
Service, Bureau of Land Management, Agricultural Research
Service, and Los Angeles County. Data are collected on Form 34
(Inter-Agency Commitee on Water Data).
