Quality The LPRM/AMSR-E data are sensitive to both internal model limitations and external processes and are screened for radio frequency interference, the presence of snow/frozen soils, water, and dense vegetation covers. All screened-out data pixels are flagged and indicated by a non-data value. A soil moisture uncertainty parameter at both C and X bands is included (Parinussa et al., 2011).
