Summary
In Kochi Prefecture, fish farm in the Japan Current(Kuroshio Farm)
steel buoys have been installed off Kochi Prefecture since 1984, and
at present they number seven. On some buoys, measuring sensors for
wind direction, wind velocity, current direction, current velocity,
water temperature and salinity(at 3m water depth) were equipped since
1989(as for the positions,see the measurement and observation bases),
and the measurement has been carried out every two hours since August
3, 1994. The data have been collected at the Fishery Experiment
Station through radio circuit, and made into the data base as the
EXCEL file using a personal computer.
