Keyword (Ancillary Keyword)
 
Definition

The <Keyword> field allows authors to provide any words or phrases needed to further describe the data set.

 
Syntax

<Keyword> text up to 160 characters </Keyword>

  • The <Keyword> field may contain up to 160 characters from the printable ASCII character set.
 
Usage
  • The <Keyword> field is optional and may be repeated.
  • Ancillary keywords that are not found in the controlled keyword lists may be provided.
