parks, natural areas and communities will be models of
environmental stewardship and prosperity. Three values drive how
we accomplish our mission:
BALANCE: Achieving the right balance of preserving and
protecting natural resources while promoting economic
development, and abandoning the notion that one has to be
sacrificed to promote the other.
RESPONSIBILITY: Influencing cultural change. Promoting
acceptance of personal responsibility?looking within ourselves
and addressing how each of us can make a difference.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Ensuring we are accountable, to you and every
citizen for each and every action we take.
