Description
The Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) is a project of the Stanford-Lockheed
Institute for Space Research and is a joint effort of the Solar Oscillations
Investigation (SOI) in the W.W. Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory of
Stanford University and the Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory of the
Lockheed-Martin Advanced Technology Center. The MDI is flown on the Solar
Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO).
