Abstract:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic methane and oceanic nitrous oxide made by Nick Owens; oceanic halocarbons made by Andrew Watson and Alison Bateman; oceanic and atmospheric ammonium made by Stuart Gibbs; and oceanic carbon dioxide made by Susan Knox during the Discovery 212 research cruise in the Arabian Sea as part of the ARABESQUE project, organized to study the upper ocean ... microbial biogeochemistry in the Arabian Sea, as a part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS). The cruise began on 16th November 1994 and ended on 19th December 1994 with a spatial coverage of +8N and +24 latitude and +58E and +67E longitude.
