Abstract:
To document hydrology, sediment transport and characteristics of
the watersheds. Rainfall, runoff, and sediment load data are
collected.
Collection Organization: USDA Agricultural Research Service,
National Sedimentation Laboratory
Collection Methodology: Automatic recording of water stage in
channel, rainfall and temperature, automatic pumping samplers,
some manual analysis of sediment
... concentrations from samples
taken both manually and automatically. Land use evaluated
annually and channel characteristics documented periodically by
field surveys and aerial videography.
Collection Frequency: Every 1, 2, 5, or 30 minutes depending
upon the variables being sensed.
Update Characteristics: Updated in its entirety.
STATISTICAL INFORMATION:
Approximately 12 (74 min.) CDs.
LANGUAGE:
English
