Abstract:
This data set is a compilation of Chesapeake Bay mainbay cruise data
from the CBI data bank extending from the institution''s founding in
1949 through 1982. There are over 100,000 observations of water
temperature and salinity; over 20,000 observations of pH, and over
... 13,000 observations of dissolved oxygen, and current data. There are
many fewer records for chlorophyll, inorganic phosphate and total
phosphorus. The nutrient cruise data (1964-1968, 1975-1978, 1980)
were included in the original data tape from CBI, but were put
together in a separate data set, CBPNUT.SSD. Most of these data were
collected under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of the Navy and
the State of Maryland.
