Weather Duration is historical digital data set DSI-3292, archived at the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). This is meteorological data. DSI-3292 contains the beginning and ending times of occurrences of weather and/or obstructions to vision that were recorded on the MF1-10B form used by the National Weather Service (NWS). This data set is most useful if coordinated with data for the same stations and dates in NCDC digital data set DSI-3280, US Global Surface Airways Hourly Observations. DSI-3292 includes data from 1984 to 1997. NCDC has data for 299 stations. Areal coverage includes the US, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, and the Pacific Ocean nations of Palau, Marshall Islands and Micronesia
