Abstract:
Sampling of aerosol particles and snow was carried out as follows. (i) Direct collection of the aerosol particles for the analysis of individual particles (ii) Sampling of the surface snow (iii) Particle number density measurement. All of these three were conducted simultaneously in the field. Frequency of sampling was once a day in the evening at the camping sites. As for the drifting snow, sampling was done when weather is stormy with higher drifting. F. Nakazawa lead field works. Sampling was done along a route connecting “Syowa – Mizuho – Dome Fuji – JASE Meeting Point (75°53’S; 25°50’E; 3661 m a.s.l.) – Dome Fuji – Mizuho – Syowa”.
