Abstract:
This database contains information pertaining to the negatives taken by the laboratory since its inception. Both scanning and transmission electron micrographs are catalogued within this database.
Among other things, the database includes a large number of images of protists.
Quality
Approximately 90% of the negatives have been archived, of these a very limited selection have been scanned and catalogued in the database. The data are of variable quality.
Access Constraints
Data are stored digially in an ORACLE database. Archived in non digital form also (photographic negatives). Data available in both digital form (scanned images) and non digital forms (photographic negatives). See the investigator for details.
Marine species distribution data is published to SCAR-MarBIN, OBIS and GBIF. Terrestrial and limnetic species distribution data is published to GBIF.
