This dataset is a series of HTML pages containing information about Antarctic and Southern Ocean topics. Each page contains facts about the topic, where the information has been collected from an expert in that field. The information is aimed at anyone wanting to know introductory material about a topic. References and other links are provided for further information.

Quality
The dataset is not complete. More information is currently being added to the dataset, and will continue to be added over time as data becomes available. The data are collected from various sources and Antarctic experts (ackonwledged), and collated to form this dataset. The data are presented in HTML format with appropriate photographs. The data within the dataset is not related to each other. The data forming each page is dependant of the data forming any other page in the dataset.
