Abstract:
The World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre contains ozone and ultraviolet radiation measurements from around the globe. Some regions have large historical datasets - for example the Macquarie Island dataset dates back to 1957.
All the data in the WOUDC system are sorted by station numbers. Each station is given a unique number to identify it. For example, Macquarie Island is
... station 29. To find out the identifying number of a particular station, select the metadata link on the WOUDC website and then the region that you are interested in. All available stations and their numbers for that region will then be displayed.
The only Australian Antarctic Division data held in the WOUDC comes from Macquarie Island. Data are provided to the WOUDC by the Bureau of Meteorology.
