Abstract:
The data collected from this cruise are important in answering the following research questions on the marine ecosystems of the Bering Sea and Chukchi Sea: 1. What are the relationships among productivity, diversity of marine organisms, ocean environmental conditions, and sea ice conditions under global change? 2. Has the distribution of fish species changed in relation to the previous data collected in 1992? 3. How do marine ecosystems respond to global climate change?
