Summary
Abstract: This product is similar to AIRI2CCF. It is newest products produced using AIRS IR only because the radiometric noise in AMSU channel 4 started to increase significantly (since June 2007).

The Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) is a facility instrument aboard the second Earth Observing System (EOS) polar-orbiting platform, EOS Aqua. In combination ... View entire text

Temporal Coverage
Start Date: 1973-09-30
Stop Date: 1999-03-31
ISO Topic Category
Quality The resolution of the data are 0.63 sq. kilometres. The location was recorded as x and y coordinates of a grid-square map produced especially for this purpose. (See associated metadata record.) The extent of searches varied between years, with search coverage most thorough in the fjords and less thorough offshore of the Vestfold Hills where there was much less chance of encountering pupping animals.

Values provided in temporal coverage are approximate only.
