Summary
Abstract: The occurrence of collembola(springtails) in the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic was reviewed using published and unpublished sources. These data were compiled into a summary database. Where possible synonyms were identified and recent taxonomic clarifications were taken into account. The taxonomy of several genera still remains uncertain.

This work was completed as part of ASAC (AAS) project 3095 (ASAC_3095).

Purpose: The occurrence of Collembola in the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic will contribute to a multi-author manuscript reviewing terrestrial biodiversity in the Antarctic.
