Summary
Abstract: The Australian Oceanographic Data Center (AODC) provides a variety of oceanographic data for the area bounded by the coordinates 80S by 150W and 30N by 20E. Data sets are currently available through data request forms and data will be archived online. The AODC is accessible via the World Wide Web (WWW) at: http://www.AODC.gov.au/

The AODC is both an archive center for Australian oceanographic data and a catalogue for other oceanographic data sources. The data center is building a system to access the data archived at the center on a spatial basis using a Geographic Information System (GIS).

AODC online information includes:
-Oceanographic Analysis Charts
-Coastal Sea Surface Temperature
-Coastal Sea Surface Salinity
-Geospatial Data Repository
