The topographic data have been derived from 1:10,000 and 1:3,0000 aerial photography. The majority of the data have been acquired from the 1:10,000 scale photography. Camera = Zeiss UMK, Film Numbers = ANTC1015-16, Run 1-5, Flying Height =1,000 metres, date the photography was flown = November 1994. The dataset was complied in February 1996. Photogrammetric work produced a 1:5000 dataset. All ... data have been checked to ensure that it is topologically correct and that layers overlay and abutt appropriately. The positional accuracy of well defined features is +/-1.5 metres horizontally and +/-1 metre vertically. However owing to lack of control south of Progress Lake these accuracies may be exceeded.
Horizontal Datum: World Geodetic System 1984. Vertical Datum: Mean Sea Level This dataset conforms to the Antarctic Spatial Data Model which has been superseded by the SCAR Feature Catalogue (refer to link below).
