Abstract:
Meteorological observations were carried out during the oversnow traverse continuously using an onboard Automatic Weather Station. We measured air temperature (Ta), wind direction (WD) and wind speed (WS) with instruments. K. Fukui operated the onboard AWS. Note that wind direction can be determined only with the heading data of the vehicle.
