Summary
Abstract: The Syowa base (SYO) ozone sonde observation started in 1966. Atmospheric pressure at approximately 35km, air temperature, wind direction, wind velocity and ozone partial pressure are measured from the ground. The observation data is reported to the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre. In addition, after returning home the data report is compiled.
