Summary
Abstract: The Maine-New Hampshire Inshore Trawl Survey is conducted twice a year, for five weeks at a time, always starting in New Hampshire and ending off Grand Manan. The spring surveys start the first week of May, and the fall surveys start the first week of October. Purpose: To provide data to state and federal fisheries managers on a variety of managed finfish and shellfish for the inshore Gulf of Maine, along the coasts of Maine and New Hampshire. The data is used in stock assessments and other regulatory processes.

Data was published in 2010 on the OBIS-USA web site and is available at http://www.usgs.gov/obis-usa
