Abstract:
Dataset shows Tsetse types distribution in Africa for the years 1973
and 1981.
The Africa Tse-Tse distribution dataset was compiled by the Nairobi
based International Labatories for Research in Animal Diseases
(ILRAD), now called International Livestock Research Institute
(ILRI). This data was collated from information supplied by the
Interafrican Bureau of Animal Resources (IBAR) and the dataset
... developed as a project carried out for the Organisation of African
Unity-Scientific and Technical Research Commision (OAU/STRC).
Sample Files;
The TSTMO files show the distribution of Mortisans Tse-tse group in
1973 and 1981.
The TSTPA files show the distribution of Palpalis Tse-tse group in
1973 and 1981.
The TSTFU files show the distribution of Fusca Tse-tse group in 1973
and 1981.
The TSTANY file shows for whole Africa if there are Tse-tse flies in
any of the years.
