Summary
Abstract: The Tectonic Reconstruction Software allows the user to manipulate portions of the earth's crust by applying a triangular mesh over a 2D map of the present-day earth, adopting the topology, and then moving the crust by moving the whole mesh, or deforming it by moving individual mesh nodes. Additional capabilities are under development.

Requirements:

-Supported on MacIntosh OSX.

-Power Mac G4 or G5, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro. 1 GB RAM, 4 GB recommended. Macintosh OSX 10.4 or later.

-For compiling source code: XCode 2.5 (or later) Development tools.

-Optional: GeomView (available through MacPorts) www.macports.org This requires the X11 package for Mac which is part of OSX 10.5, but is an optional install for OSX 10.4.
Use Constraints The software may be used freely. Derived publications must cite Pplates' authors.
