Abstract:
Geomajas is a component framework for building rich internet applications, with sophisticated capabilities for the display, analysis and management of geographic information. It is a building block meant for developing geographic web applications.
Geomajas is a client-server solution where the backend uses proven technologies such as Geotools or Hibernate Spatial, while the client side is build on top of the Dojo AJAX framework. The choice of a full client-server solution has given geomajas advantages such as speed and XML configurations
