Abstract:
Environment Canada's Water Survey maintains hydrometric (streamflow and water
level) records for 2400 hydrometric stations in British Columbia and Yukon for which over 500 are active at present. Sensitive electronic monitoring devices are maintained at each site to continuously monitor water level. Precision surveys are required several times per year to calibrate these instruments.
