Summary
Abstract:
The marine system boundary for the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. The marine system boundary was interpolated using ETOPO2 grid data from the -50 m contour line seaward. Longhurst's marine biomes form the marine system sub-categories (Polar, Westerlies, Trade-Winds and Coastal)
Purpose: Use as the marine definition for the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MA)
