Summary
Abstract: LMCELMD4:
The LMD model derives from an earlier version developed for climate
studies (cf. Sadourny and Laval 1984) . Subsequent modifications
principally include changes in the representation of radiation and
horizontal diffusion, Inclusion of parameterizations of gravity-wave
drag and prognostic cloud formation and cloud water pronostic equation
(Le Treut 1994 and Ramstein 1998).

LMCELMD5:
The LMD model derives from an earlier version developed for climate
studies (cf. Sadourny and Laval 1984) . Subsequent modifications
principally include changes in the representation of radiation and
horizontal diffusion, and inclusion of parameterizations of
gravity-wave drag and prognostic cloud formation.

For the PMIP, LMCELMD4 and LMCELMD5 consists of runs 21, 6 and 0.
