Summary

Abstract: The Atlantic Stratocumulus Transition Experiment (ASTEX) took place
from 1 June through 25 June 1992 off the northwest coast of Africa
near the Azores, Madeira and Canary Island groups.

The data for this experiment is under Working Group 1 (Boundary Layer
Clouds) of the GEWEX Cloud System Study (GCSS) to improve physical
parameterizations of clouds, other boundary layer processes, and their
interactions.
