An index of potential threats to coastal ecosystems due to development-related
activities was developed. These threats range from habitat destruction, to sewage and industrial pollution, and to species introductions. Topographic and bathymetric data were collected utilizing Three-Wire Leveling
with a Sokia Autolevel 20x, Acoustic Doppler Profiler and water depth probings with corresponding water level gage measurements. All data points collected in pool 2B were merged in ArcToolbox of ArcGIS 9.1 to aid in interpolation. All data collected was conducted in Pool 2B of Ottawa Wildlife Refuge.
