Summary
Abstract: This dataset presents the concentration and oxygen and nitrogen isotopic ratios of nitrate in three 70 cm depth snow pits collected in the clean area of the Concordia station during the field season 2007/2008. The first snow pit was collected 2007-12-18, the second 2007-12-28 and the third 2008-01-15. Resolution is around 2cm depth. Dataset gives depth, concentration in ppbw and isotopic ratios (in permil with respect of SMOW and Air-N2 reference scales).
Data Resolution
Horizontal Resolution Range: 1 meter - < 30 meters
Vertical Resolution: 2 cm
Vertical Resolution Range: < 1 meter
Quality Isotopic ratios are referenced against international standards distributed by IEAE. Concentrations are referenced against internal standard based on mass weighted nitrate salt.
