Summary

Abstract: This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic organosulfur compounds and halocarbons made by Sue Turner and oceanic ammonium made by David Hydes during the Challenger 59 research cruise in the North Sea as part of the North Sea Project. The cruise began on 23rd August 1989 and ended on 3rd September 1989 with a spatial coverage of +51N to +56N latitude and +2W to +8E longitude.

-105 measurements of the concentration of dissolved dimethylsulphoniopropionate (DMSP) per unit volume of the water column by filtration and gas chromatography;
