Summary
Abstract: Paleontological determinations of the age and depositional environment of sedimentary rocks is critical information for geological mapping and basin analysis. As of 2009, this database comprises metadata for 8600 reports concerning 92,000 samples. The reports were written by Geological Survey of Canada and collaborating paleontologists since 1936, and primarily cover invertebrate and botanical fossils.
