Summary
Abstract: The reference layer data set for the VA Coastal Reserve site is derived from
ESRI (Earth Systems Research Institute) products. Some of the coverages are
primarily from the 1998 "ESRI Data & Maps" CD ROM. These coverages include the
administrative unit boundary, administrative unit polygons, city points, major
roads and railroads, and primary rivers layers. Other coverages in this data
set have been directly clipped or derived from the 1992 "ArcWorld 1:3M" CD ROM,
including Landsat path/row lines and path/row centroids.
