Summary

Abstract: VASS/MWHS Orbit IWTH Detection:

The orbit product of Ice Water Thickness Index from VASS with raw resolution contains the following information: pixel’s convection detection result, pixel’s Ice Water Path Index of 3,4,5 channels in MWHS, observing time of scan line, pixel's latitude and longitude.

Purpose: VASS/MWHS Orbit IWTH Detection:

Microwave Ice Water Thickness Index product can be used for convective system monitoring and short period climate forecast.
