Abstract: The Field Crops County Data dataset provides information on
acreage, yield, and production by crop and county. The data
include planted and harvested acreage, yield per harvested acre,
and total production 1989-90 by county and crop reporting
district. Data are gathered monthly in season and annually.

Collection Methodology: Surveys of the farm universe are made
several times each year and estimates are adopted based on
survey data and any other available administrative data that
would support estimeate levels.
Collection Frequency: Monthy in season and annually.
Update Characteristics: Not updated in its entirety.
It is estimated that the data set comprises 250,000 records.
