Entry ID:
SOLAS_D190
Summary
Abstract:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Andy Watson and Peter Williams during the RRS Discovery 190 research cruise in the North Atlantic as part of the Biogeochemical Ocean Flux Study (BOFS). The cruise began on 18th April 1990 and ended on 30th April 1990 with the spatial coverage of +48N and +50N latitude and +18W and +21W longitude.
The data set consists of: -75 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column by gas chromatography; and -83 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by coulometry.
