Abstract:
This directory entry was created from information gathered in a survey
conducted as part of NOAA's Data System Modernization program. This data set contains cloudiness observations and sunshine duration (number of minutes of sunshine). The data are recorded by a network of 100 ground stations in the contiguous U.S. and date back to 1950.
