Summary
Abstract:
This was a winter cruise. The primary objective was to investigate
krill physiology and behaviour at a time when concentrations of the primary food source (phytoplankton) were low. However, low krill populations were encountered and an alternative study of ichthyoplankton was used to occupy the remaining cruise time.
