Abstract:
Digital representation of the Quaternary Deposits in Illinois map by Lineback
(1979). Map scale is 1:500,000. Shows quaternary deposits that lie at or near the land surface, including loess deposits. For use in applications requiring generalized information for surface deposits in Illinois. These data are appropriate for use in regional thematic analysis. An updated version of this data set is in preparation. Updates: This edition (ver. 1.1) has one minor update from previous edition (ver. 1.0). A polygon was deleted. See process steps.
