A dataset of Antarctic and sub-Antarctic invertebratesEntry ID: block_invertebrates
Abstract: The dataset was compiled from papers entered into Block's bibliography of invertebrate occurrences in the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic. Once completed, the dataset will provide a comprehensive list of all terrestrial invertebrates recorded from the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic. Data was entered into an Excel spreadsheet, which contains approximately 3500 entries.
This ... dataset forms part of the work completed for Australian Antarctic Science (AAS) project 1146 (ASAC_1146) and the RiSCC program, AAS project 1015 (ASAC_1015).
Papers from the Block Bibliography are available as a separate collection in the Australian Antarctic Division Library.
This dataset has also been incorporated into the biodiversity database, which can be found at the url given below.
