GCMD's MD9.6 Version Release (July 2006)

The Global Change Master Directory (GCMD)'s Version 9.6 software, just released, now offers:

  • “Relative Temporal Coverage” Capability for data sets. Accommodate data “pools” where current data are offered for specified periods and rotated as temporal subsets.

  • docBUILDER enhancements
    • Provide automatic logging for docBUILDERsolo registration.

  • Upgraded Related_URL field:
    - A two-level hierarchy for Related_URL is available with a set of controlled keywords (e.g. valids capability for Get Data).
    - Increased the character limit for all URL resources to 600 characters.
